Now of course if you have to setup analytics tracking for your WordPress site then you have to first visit the Google Analytics to get the tracking code for your site. Thus go through the Google Analytics and signup with the required details . By signing up with Google Analytics, you are agree with the terms and condition of use.  After Completion of sign up process analytics will provide you a tracking code which you need to implement on your WordPress site for tracking.

You can also use plugins for that purpose. Google will give you a UA id that is used to access the tracking information. Once you install this plugin it will show a small screen where you have to paste your own tracking code, then you will be able to access the analytics data on your WordPress dashboard.

You can also choose the alternative method to implement the Google analytics tracking code on your site.  You just need to edit the header code of your WordPress site by navigate to Appearance & Editor. Paste the analytics tracking code before closing the head tag.

After pasting the code click on update file and you are ready for tracking your unique visitors.
