When you need to bulk schedule WordPress posts?

If you are a single author, who creates and manage content on blog then you can schedule your blog posts easily by using default post scheduling feature in WordPress. But if you want to edit & schedule a lots of posts from different authors, then it can be a little bit complicated & time-consuming.

The native feature of post scheduling in WordPress requires you to open each post individually to schedule & save.

Whereas a bulk schedule option can allow you to schedule multiple posts at once. Which will save time that you can spend on increasing your website traffic & growing blog posts.

Let’s take a look at how easily bulk schedule blog posts in WordPress step by step.

Bulk Scheduling WordPress Posts (Step by Step Guide):-

Initial thing you need to do is to install & activate “Auto post Scheduler” plugin.

After activation, You need to go through Settings>> Auto Post Scheduler page to setup automatic bulk scheduling. At the top, you will see Auto Post Scheduler’s status which is by default disabled.  You can enable it by clicking on the button but it will enable the default settings of plugin.

That’s why we recommend reviewing & updating plugin options before enabling the scheduler.

First thing, you need to set the auto post interval time. By default, it is set to 24 hours which means your drafts automatically get published in time interval of 24 hours.

You can remain it unchanged if you want to publish one article each day. if you want to publish two articles each day then change it to 12 hours.

Next, You will see restart on publish button option. You can enable this option if you want plugin to republish your already published posts. Basically this setting allows you to recycle old content and make blog look fresh.

How to Bulk Schedule Posts in WordPress

After that, there is a option for “Start Scheduling Delay”, this will allow you to set time delay before the first scheduled post goes live. By default it is set to 0 seconds which means that your first scheduled post will be published immediately after scheduler is enabled.

Next, limit check to these post types, let’s choose which post type which you want to automatically schedule. By default there is a post selected. if you want to enable auto schedule for pages as well, then add them to selection by clicking on them with shift key pressed on keyboard.

Also you can schedule categories as well similar to posts and pages. All categories are included by default.

After that, you will see limit check to posts from different authors option. you can include and exclude any of them.

Also you can limit check to posts with keyword search. if you want to exclude the post with specific keyword, you can pretend the keywords with hyphen and enter in field.

Another useful option is “Limit checks on certain day to” which allow you to set which hours your post can be published. You have to enter time range in 24 hour format. After that, select which days you don’t want to schedule post. Next, select the eligible post statuses. You can choose the posts with draft, pending or published status.

Below that, there are several other settings you can use to republish or recycle your old posts. they comes in handy when you want to update old posts with new published date. Once review all settings, click on update options at the bottom.

Now after updating all the settings go to top and enable Auto Post scheduler option.
