Enable Maintenance mode for WooCommerce:
Initial thing you need to do is install & activate SeedProd plugin. After activation, Enter license key by Settings>> Coming Soon Pro and clicking on license tab.
Now you can enable maintenance mode.
Creating Maintenance Mode or Coming soon page:
To start designing Visit Settings>> Coming Soon pro page and tap on “Edit Coming Soon/Maintenance Page” button.
Next page, you’ll see different templates to select from. Each of them is able to customize easily to meet our requirements. Furthermore, you can switch to another template without losing changes you have made to text & other fields of maintenance page.
Once you’ve selected a theme, automatically your page is ready for you with “Coming Soon” header. To change the text content on the page. On the left side click on “Content” tab and you’ll see option to edit the text.
Also you can modify the order of different areas by easily moving them up & down under “Section Order”. If you want to add an extra field then you can do that as well. Simple close the “Content” tab by click on it, and then open tab for new section that you want to add.
Turn on Maintenance or Coming Soon Mode for WooCommerce:
Now that, you have created maintenance mode or coming soon page. Let’s move forward and enable it.
In WordPress Dashboard, Navigate to Settings>> Coming Soon Pro.
Under “Status” choose either “Enable Maintenance mode” or “Enable Coming Soon Mode”. Although often these terms used interchangeably, they each have different purpose & meaning here.
- Coming Soon Mode:- If your online shop haven’t launched yet, Then you should pick “Enable Coming Soon Mode”. This mode will lets your page getting indexed by Google, without potential customers being able to access the pages.
Basically Coming Soon mode is for the websites that are under construction.
- Maintenance Mode:- If your WooCommerce store is down for some maintenance work, You should pick up the “Maintenance mode”. For examples: you have installed a plugin and it starts conflicting, you need to make your site down while you are fixing the issues.
