How can a facebook page auto popup chat box whenever someone visit it:
As we know, the facebook makes effort to promote brand, businesses and organizations into its messaging platform, on Facebook Messenger.
They invest the high amount of resources to make the messenger better. This year the facebook has doubled their efforts to make the messenger most popular but also to make sure that people might use it.
One of the example of messenger platform feature is that they permits the automation of messaging people that left comments of any post of their fb pages. One more example of the new messenger feature is that they show & emphasize reader, how well the business or brand respond to the messages on their facebook page.
Facebook opens the Chat Box for you:
We currently goes through a test and found that number of users message companies on facebook increasing day by day. When I open a facebook page on desktop it will popup a chat box on the right side automatically after I landed on the page.
Honestly this is not a real popup. Firstly when I don’t know about this feature I message an another page that has the chat box pop up. They replied in a timely manner.
The team of that business was quite friendly and they replied that they don’t change anything on their fan page and not using a chat bot. It was something that was most likely testing out by facebook.
So as of my question, if there was increase in the messages they received on facebook page, definitely their answer was yes.
The Facebook support team notice the influx of messages is portable partly because of the desperate people.
All these little change in the facebook feature makes the importance of that business page and the user changes their mind. It is genuine to message brands or companies on facebook and expect for a reply. More & More people find it convenient to their messaging habits.

So to do this there is two things you need to do:-
- Enable Prompt Visitors to Send Messages:
Navigate to settings and go to General settings in messaging and enable the options for “Prompt Visitors to send messages.”
You may need to access the business account depending on the page roles.
Some people don’t have this kind of settings on their facebook page.
- Page Reactiveness:- If you are online the facebook will show a green dot next to your page name. but this is not compulsory also. Facebook helps you with the popup if you expect to answer the questions promptly.
There are two ways for this:-
- Try to be online as much as possible
- Having a chatbot that answers automatically. This will prompt users to send messages while you are offline.
